Frequently Asked Questions

Before you generate,
know how AnchorStudio works.

Quick answers about the beta, Free access, BYOK providers, billing and project workflow.

What is AnchorStudio?

AnchorStudio is an AI production workspace for organizing a story, storyboard, characters/assets, anchor frames, prompts, generation results and assembly inside one connected project.

What can I do on the Free plan?

The Free plan is designed for evaluation. You can use the core story workflow and, when managed trial capacity is enabled, generate a limited number of Gemini images each month so you can see a real visual output before subscribing. Video Generation, Assembly and Voice are Creator/Studio features.

What does BYOK mean?

Bring Your Own Key means you connect supported provider credentials in the desktop app. Your provider usage is billed by that provider under your own account. AnchorStudio does not turn your BYOK key into a shared account credential.

Which generation providers are supported?

The current beta includes integration presets for Google Gemini image generation, Google Veo, BytePlus Seedance, Kling AI and xAI Grok video generation. Provider/model availability still depends on your own provider account. See the BYOK Providers page for the exact presets in this build.

Where are my projects stored?

The desktop project files remain on the computer/location you choose unless a specific feature explicitly states that it uploads data to a managed backend service. AnchorStudio does not currently advertise cloud project storage as part of the beta.

What happens when I cancel a subscription?

For a normal end-of-period cancellation, paid access remains available until the current billing period ends. After the paid access period ends, the account entitlement returns to Free unless the plan is renewed.

Why can a generation fail even if AnchorStudio is working?

Generation providers can reject requests because of model access, content policy, invalid credentials, rate limits, quota, regional availability or provider outages. AnchorStudio keeps provider errors visible so the underlying cause can be diagnosed.

Can I use AnchorStudio for commercial work?

Your right to use generated output depends on the terms of the provider/model you use, your plan, and applicable law. Review the provider's own usage and commercial terms before delivering generated work to a client.

Is this a final release?

No. AnchorStudio is currently being released as a beta. Features, supported models, limits and interfaces may change as the product is tested and improved.

How do I get support?

Contact support@anchorstudio.id and include the account email, approximate time of the issue, feature/provider used and any visible error message. Do not send API secrets.
